Daniel Spoerri was born on March 27th, 1930 in Galati, Romania. His father was killed during Lasi pogrom in June 1941. With his family, he seeks refuge in Switzerland. He starts his career as a dancer in 1954, and becomes the first dancer of Berne Opera.
